A police officer injured in an attack on the assistant commissioner of Kurram died of his injuries.
Police sources have confirmed the police ‘death, according to an express report.
Yesterday, at Upper Kurram, three police officers, including the deputy commissioner of Kurram, were injured in a dismissed incident targeting a government convoy which was heading towards the mediation of a cease-fire between two tribes.
The Sho said that if the district administration had succeeded in media a cease-fire in Upper Kurram, the convoy, which was sent to negotiate with the other party, was criticized. Kurram’s deputy commissioner, Manan, who led the convoy, was injured in the attack.
Police reported that the deputy commissioner went to Boshhera to maintain peace and order when the Fatah Khel management was opening, Express News reported.
According to police, three other police officers were also injured during the shooting and the injured deputy commissioner, the income agent, Saeed Manan, was transferred to the theater of the operation.
Tribal chief Shafiq Mathari mentioned that the shots had taken place when they, as well as the administration and the police, were engaged in the cease-fire process. The incident took place on Friday morning in Boshhera.
The Kurram district administration said security measures are implemented in the region due to the situation in force. Meanwhile, a Jirga was also detained at the commissioner’s office in Kohat.
The MS DHQ PARACCHINAR Hospital, Dr. Syed Mir Hassan Jan, confirmed that the deputy commissioner had undergone surgery at the DHQ in Parachinar. He had undergone an abdomen shot and was transported by plane to Peshawar.
The MS added that the deputy commissioner had been transported by ambulance to the Heliport for air evacuation following the dismissal incident in Boshhera.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lawyer Dr Saif, visited the combined military hospital (CMH) in Peshawar on Thursday evening.
He was accompanied by the chief secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry and the IG police, Zulfiqar Hamid, reported Express News.
The delegation visited the deputy commissioner Saeed Minan, who was injured during a dismissal incident in the Kurram district, and expressed his good wishes for his rapid recovery.
Deputy Commissioner Minan was injured earlier this week during an attack during an operation to apply the law in Kurram.
The local government and security officials have condemned the assault and supported the injured officer.
Earlier, advisor to KHYBER-PAKHTUNKHWA, Minister of Information, Lawyer, Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif, addressed a Grand Jirga to the commissioner’s office in Kohat, reaffirming the government’s commitment to restore peace in the Kurram district.
He stressed that the current conflict is not a religious or sectarian question but the result of hatred.
SAIF has urged all stakeholders to recognize the devastating consequences of violence, stressing that no external force is responsible for the loss of lives and goods, it is the internal divisions that fueled this crisis.
He stressed that war and hatred only bring destruction and that real progress can only be made by putting hate aside and adopting unity.
