18 Pakistanis Martyred security personal in Balutchistan, 12 activists killed

In a series of anti -terrorist operations in Balutchistan, the security forces and the police have killed 23 terrorists in recent 24 hours, attempts at terrorists thwarting to disrupt peace in the region. Eighteen Pakistani soldiers were martyred during operations, according to an inter-service public relations statement (ISPR).

The press release indicates that on the night of January 31 to February 1, terrorists tried to establish roadblocks in the mangocher region in the Kalat district. The terrorist led an attack “at the request of hostile and hostile forces”, which “aimed to disturb the peaceful environment of Balutchistan by mainly targeting innocent civilians”.

Acting quickly, the security forces mobilized and engaged the activists, by killing twelve of them and preventing new violence.

The media wing of the Pakistani army confirmed that follow -up operations had been launched in Balutchistan province, including in the Harnai district, where eleven additional activists were killed.

Several terrorist hiding places have also been dismantled in these actions.

The current disinfection operations aim to translate the authors and their facilitators in justice, said the ISPR.

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari firmly condemned the terrorist attack to Kalat and expressed deep sadness and regret for the martyrdom of 18 security staff during the operation against the terrorists.

The president paid tribute to the martyrs for their action in a timely time against the terrorists and praised the bravery of the security staff for having killed 12 terrorists during the operation. He prayed for the elevation of the rows of martyrs and for patience for their families.

He also said the terrorist elements aimed to destabilize the peace of Balutchistan. The operations of the security forces to remove these anti-state elements will continue.
