Pakistan, Azerbaijan to stimulate commercial and investment links

Pakistan and Azerbaijan have promised to deepen bilateral links by expanding energy, investment and tourism cooperation, officials announced on Sunday.

Understanding was reached at a meeting between the Pakistani minister for privatization and communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Prime Minister Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, in Bakou.

Khan highlighted Pakistan’s investment potential, in particular in the privatization of public enterprises. He invited Azerbaijan to invest in the Pakistani highway infrastructure and other key sectors, ensuring complete facilitation for Azérant investors.

The two parties also discussed the strengthening of their strategic partnership, focusing on economic collaboration, trade and mutual interests.
