Jesse Eisenberg is nominated for the Oscars for the second time, this time for the best original script for A real pain, that he wrote, directed and played.
During an interview CBS NewsHe was asked about his reaction to the wink of the Oscars.
“Are you able to enjoy moments like this?” The questioned person asked. “No, I’m not really wired to take advantage of praise.”
“I don’t know why. I think that, like, I don’t know, triggers a guilt in my brain, and I try to find something miserable.”
“But I’m going to tell you what I like: I really like to do my job. As, I feel so lucky that I found something I like to do,” he continued.
Jesse had previously received a nod to the Oscars to The social network. In an anterior interview, the actor recalled an incident where he was prevented from meeting the character he played: Mark Zuckerberg.
“I was driving to meet him because I was told [by producers]’No, we are not going [set up a meeting for you]'”He said THR.
“I was just going to go to the office, and I thought they would let me enter … I just wanted to be in a room with him, just to see what the feeling looks like,” continued the man of 41 years .
“I received a call from [producer] Scott Rudin said to me, “Do not go,” he concluded. He told me that in the name of Sony’s lawyers. He said to me: “You can’t do this for a variety of legal reasons”.
