Trump made equity in female sports a major campaign problem on the way to win the presidential election against former vice-president Kamala Harris in November.
In early January, a federal judge blocked the Biden administration attempt to redefine sex in title IX as “gender identity”. Then, the Trump Ministry of Education told schools from kindergarten to 12th year and higher education establishments that title IX protections would be recognized on the basis of organic sex.
Trump clearly indicated in December that he was going to end “transgender madness”.

“And we will keep men away from female sports,” he said in part during an agreement in Arizona. “And this will also be done on day 1. must I do day 1, day 2 or day 3? And day 1? Under the Trump administration, it will be the official policy of the US government two sexes – men and women.
While accepting republican appointment to the presidency in July, he clearly indicated his position.
“We will not have men in female sports, it will end immediately,” he said at the time.
