- The phone 3A can be delivered with a camera button
- If it is implemented, it could become the phone equipped with the cheapest shutter on the market
- Nothing has reiterated an announcement date of March 4
Last month, I wrote that I wanted to see the shutter buttons become standard on smartphones in 2025. Now it seems that we can get the very first budget phone equipped with a capture button.
Nothing has published a new teaser for its next budget handset, the next Nothing Phone 3A, which lets a new shutter button in the style of the camera control of the iPhone 16.
The teaser was shared at X (formerly Twitter) and contains a clear outline on the phone side, with a new button mounted under the power button.
Although nothing confirmed if it was a trigger, the legend of the post certainly suggests it; The message can be read as follows: “Your second memory, a click. Power in perspective. The message then reiterates the date of revelation previously announced on the phone on March 4.
Second memory? One click? It looks like photography speaks to me. If it turns out to be a trigger, the Nothing 3A phone can be launched as the cheapest phone of its kind on the market, because the functionality has already been reserved for specialized or headlights.
The currently available phones that are delivered with a trigger include the iPhone 16 series, which starts at $ 799 / £ 799 / $ 1,399 at the regionally available like the Sony Xperia 1 VI and Oppo Find X8 Pro.
In comparison, the current generation nothing on the phone 2A starts at $ 349 / £ 319 / $ 675 in. Even the high -end Nothing phone costs less than the iPhone 16, at a starting price of $ 599 / £ 579 / $ 1,049 in.
Although prices have not yet been announced, we expect the phone 3A to be considerably cheaper than the iPhone 16 at launch. As such, it is unlikely that the trigger found on the 3A phone is as powerful as ordering the camera of the iPhone, which offers pressure and tactile control.
We would touch ourselves realistic at a shutter button on a phone of $ 350 to do a little more than take photos and videos, but it is nothing to complain at such a cheap price.
However, a shutter button on the Nothing 3a phone would be a welcome reflection of high -end smartphones trends, and if the phone starts with a camera button, it will get my vote for a place on our list of Best inexpensive phones.
