Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the Overseas Pakistani Ministry on Tuesday to restore the Green Channel initiative to facilitate Pakistanis abroad and also trained an organization to grant special recognition to the distinguished members of the diaspora contributing to national development.
In his speech to the Convention on the World Foundation of Pakistani abroad, he recognized their invaluable role of Ambassadors of Pakistan around the world.
To honor the important contributions of the main contributors, exporters and investors of Pakistan, the PM has announced that they would be officially recognized as ambassadors as a whole.
