He described Prince Karim Aga Khan as a remarkable leader devoted to edifying communities around the world.
Thanks to his tireless work in reducing poverty, health care and gender equality, he defended the cause of marginalized groups, leaving a lasting impact on millions of lives.
The acting president, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, also expressed his condolences, qualifying Prince Karim Aga Khan a great humanitarian dedicated to peace and humanity.
In his message of condolences, he recognized Aga Khan’s commitment to social protection, in particular in education and health care. His numerous initiatives for disadvantaged and middle -class communities have benefited millions and will remember him as part of his lasting heritage.
Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed deep sadness in the face of the death of Aga Khan, highlighting his immense philanthropic contributions worldwide.
In a message on X, Dar highlighted Aga Khan’s special link with Pakistan and its unrivaled role in the development of the country.

“His unshakable commitment to improving the communities of the world leaves an indelible heritage,” said Dar, adding that Pakistan would cherish his contributions forever. He exercised sincere condolences to the family of Aga Khan and the Ismaili community.
The UN secretary general António Guterres also shared his pain on X, praising Aga Khan as a symbol of peace, tolerance and compassion. Guterres expressed condolences to the family of Aga Khan and the world community of Ismaies.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his admiration for AGA Khan’s dedication to the promotion of peace and prosperity.
Trudeau has described it as a visionary leader who worked tirelessly through cultures and continents to meet global challenges such as gender poverty, education and inequalities.
“He was a man of extraordinary vision, faith and generosity, and his heritage will live,” wrote Trudeau.
The winner of the Nobel Malala Yousafzai Prize shared his feelings, recognizing the sustainable impact of Aga Khan on education, health and development. “His heritage will continue through the incredible work he has led,” she said.

Other leaders, including former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former Minister of Foreigners John Baird, and the leader of the new Democratic Party Jagmeet Singh, also expressed their sorrow.
Kenya President William Samoei Ruto praised Aga Khan as an extraordinary leader who went beyond expectations to help vulnerable communities, highlighting his remarkable contributions.
