But after quietly saying ‘I do’, it seems the couple are now preparing for a much bigger celebration with family and friends.
According to new reports, the Hollywood couple will host a wedding party at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.
The celebration is expected to be much bigger than their private wedding, which was attended by close family members.
Even if everything seems to be falling into place, a small problem would have caught their attention during planning.
A source claimed that someone connected to the castle was recently bitten by a tick after walking in the tall grass in part of the estate.
The report states that Tom and Zendaya didn’t want to take any chances as they reportedly asked organizers to make sure guests stayed away from that area as ticks can carry Lyme disease.
The couple surprised fans by choosing a quiet wedding instead of a star-studded event.
Tom later confirmed his family was there, but decided not to say anything else about the special day.
However, their next celebration is expected to be a completely different story.
A source claimed the two had already walked around the grounds, choosing where they wanted large tents and even a grand piano for the party.
