Coas says that cashmere will be part of Pakistan one day

The chief of staff of the army (COAS), General Syed Asim Munnir, visited Azad Jammu and the Kashmir (AJK) Capital Muzaffarabad on Wednesday, where he paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

During the visit, General Asim Munnir said that any act of aggression would be encountered a strong response and would repeat the unwavering commitment of the Pakistani army to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation.

Upon his arrival at the Jammu-et-Cachemire monument, he posed a floral crown at the martyrs monument, honoring the unequaled sacrifices of the Shuhada, as indicated in a press release from the ISPR.

During his visit, the Coas congratulated the unshakable dedication, professional excellence and combat preparation of officers and soldiers stationed in cashmere.

Later, the Coas engaged with eminent local leaders and veterans of the cashmere, reaffirming the unshakable support of Pakistan to the inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), the Indian people.

He condemned Indian atrocities and the rise in Hindutva extremism, declaring that these actions only strengthen the determination of the cashmere people in their fight for self -determination.

The Coas assured that Pakistan would always serve them in their right fight against the repression sponsored by the State.

He concluded by declaring: “Without a doubt, the cashmere will be a free day and part of Pakistan, in accordance with the will and the destiny of the Kashmir people.”

Upon arrival, the COAS was received by the commander of the Rawalpindi Corps.
