The head of Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, firmly criticized the remarks of former American president Donald Trump concerning Gaza, urging the Pakistani government and the establishment to take a clear position that represents really the conscience of the nation.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman reaffirmed her position on Palestine, rejecting the Israeli occupation and stressed that the Palestinians had an undeniable right to their land. He condemned the statements made by Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at their meeting, calling this an insult to the Muslim Ummah, which, according to him, is united as a sign of protest.

“Palestine belongs to the Palestinians”

The head of Jui-F said that the Palestinian struggle is a legitimate fight for freedom, qualifying Israel as a Zionist profession which has never been recognized by the Palestinian people. He said that the whole Ummah Muslim is firmly standing with the Palestinians in their resistance.

He also reminded Trump the failure of America in Afghanistan, declaring: “You tried to occupy Afghanistan and to shed blood for 20 years, to impose war and to have violated the rights to Man – but you faced a humiliating defeat. “

“Gaza massacres are war crimes”

Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned the 15 -month assault of Israel against Gaza, carried out with American support, which transformed Gaza and Khan Younis into ruins. He stressed that thousands of people remain buried under the rubble, while more than 50,000 Palestinians, including women and children, have been martyred.

“How can we define such atrocities, except as war crimes and crimes against humanity?” He questioned, establishing parallels with the execution of Saddam Hussein and the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi, who, according to him, was justified by the West for similar reasons.

American support for Israel

He also criticized the United States for supporting Israel’s genocide, declaring that Washington continues to support Israel while discussing the occupation of Gaza. In a provocative message, he said: “Give him – without power on earth cannot occupy Gaza!”

Call Pakistan to take a firm position

Maulana Fazlur Rehman congratulated the Arab League for rejecting Trump’s declaration and urged the government and the establishment of Pakistan to remove any ambiguity concerning Palestine and take a strong and clear position on Trump’s remarks.

“This is a very sensitive issue concerning the whole Muslim world. Any government that remains uncertain about Palestine is unacceptable,” he said, reaffirming the unwavering support of Pakistan to the Palestinian cause.
