We all wondered where the Alexa infused at AI is, and it seems that the technology giant is almost ready to tell us. Amazon has just sent invitations for an event focused on devices on February 26. Panos Panay, vice-president of Amazon devices, will be there alongside other members of the team of devices and services, and we have a teaser image with a very familiar shade of blue. The event will be in New York, although it is only an invitation, and Amazon will not be live.
Amazon promises that we will “see the next step”. It is the only star text on the invitation, alongside the brand’s logo and the date. It is not much to go, although it teases products and services. Perhaps the largest index is a swirling shape in bright blue-perhaps part of a tiny “A” script.
We all know that Amazon is working on his next generation of the Alexa virtual assistant, who was presented during the last event of formal devices which was held in September 2023 at the company’s second headquarters in Virginia. Since then, however, we have not had many news except the leaks on which he is worked and we will finally make his debut.
Amazon ignored an event of formal devices in 2024, but several landed throughout the year – including a new range of Kindles in October. There was also the oversized echo show 21 alongside a new generation 15 echo show in November, and the echo point was reintroduced during the summer. All three, as well as the rest of the Echo range, always present the same former Alexa assistant that we have all learned.
This same version of Alexa is also on new TV Fire devices – an entry -level streaming stick and the first LED mini television models. It remains to be seen if these devices will obtain the Alexa teasing for the first time in September 2023 with an LLM support for a more conversational tone, and if “transplantation of the brain” will be sustained.
Premium Alexa?
Just say that Amazon is clearly ready to talk about something, and it seems that all signs point to Alexa’s next generation. The use of “devices and services” also deserves a call, because it is said that Amazon could eventually invoice Alexa. Amazon could also start a new equipment, which could be a new generation full-scale Echo speaker, or even an update in the point of the size of a bite.
