Microstrategy (MSTR) changed its name into a strategy in a movement to simplify its brand and reflect the objective of the company, he announced on Wednesday.
The new strategous logo includes the famous bitcoin “B”, signaling the company’s Bitcoin Treasury strategy, and the new main color of the name is orange.
“This brand simplification is a natural development of the company, reflecting its objective and its broad attraction,” said a press release.
Microstrategy, founded by President now Executive Michael Saylor, has been mainly a software and infrastructure company since its beginnings in 1989. In the past five years, however, it has gradually moved to focus on accumulation de Bitcoin, with its operating software activity only a small fraction of the company’s assessment.
Last year, the company began to be called a Bitcoin strategy company.
