- The N5 discovery arrives in “two weeks” according to an Exec Oppo
- The super thin foldable will be launched internationally at the same time
- The OnePlus Open 2 should follow in certain markets
We have been waiting for a while a follow -up of the Oppo Find N3 – known outside of China under the name of OnePlus Open – but thanks to an OPPO frame, we know that the successor of the folding will obtain its big unveiling in two weeks ” ‘ time.
This comes from Zhou Yibao d’Oppo on the Chinese social media site Weibo (via Android Authority), and the post maintains that it will be the thinnest folding in the world when it arrives – beating the Honor Magic V3, which is 4 , 4 mm -chick when unfolded.
Oppo representatives have been occupied on social networks in recent weeks, showing us how thin is the search for. He was compared to an iPad Pro M4, and opposed an iPhone 16 Pro Max, in official images.
In addition to giving us this two -week period – launching on February 19 or 20 – Yibao also said that this would be the first of Oppo foldable phones to be available worldwide under its original name .
What about the Open 2 OnePlus?
This global availability raises a few questions about the Open 2 OnePlus, because the Oppo Find N3 has been re -defined in the world as an Open Oneplus – a foldable of which we have been very impressed, as you will see from our review OnePlus Open.
We could obtain indices from the Oppo Find X8 Pro, which launched last year and was published in several places abroad as well as in China: it is currently available in the United Kingdom, Australia and in Europe, but not in the United States.
If Oppo follows this plan again, the OnePlus Open 2 can land in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe-mainly the same phone but under a different name and brand. This means that British and European buyers would have two roughly identical folds to choose.
Everything should be revealed in a few weeks – at least with regard to the Oppo N5 and its availability is concerned. In addition to the ultra-thin, we also expect a titanium construction, to the largest battery to date in a foldable and a substantial upgrade of the camera.
