A portfolio identified as belonging to World Liberty Financial, the decentralized financing platform (DEFI) supported by President Donald Trump and his family, deepened his investment in Ondo Finance, the second transmitter of tokenized treasury bills.
The address increased by around 342,000 Ondo, the platform governance token, for $ 470,000 USDC on the cow protocol, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. He bought Ondo two months ago, worth $ 245,000 at the time, before sending the tokens to Coinbase earned earlier this week.
The transaction has occurred while Ondo announced today that it would present its own layer 1 blockchain designed for tokenized assets.
Ondo is negotiated at $ 1,298, down 3.7% in the last 24 hours in the middle of a wider market slowdown which saw the Coindesk 20 index drop by 3.1%.
With Ondo, the Trump family DEFI also accumulated TRX and wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC).
