The Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, said that a number of international events were taking place in the country at the moment and that the government could not allow the PTI to repeat what the opposition party would have done the May 9, 2023 and November 26, 2024.
“The PTI has engaged in the policy of obstruction. Each time something happens that improves the position of Pakistan in the comity of nations, this party begins to create misdeeds,” said Asif, which belongs to PML-N in power, during the address of the media in his hometown of Sialkot.
“Today is observed as a day of development and progress, but the PTI pursues its chaos and protest policy. Papater the importance of any world event has become its brand brand,” he added.
The Minister of Defense was expressed in reference to the planned rally of the PTI in Lahore on the first anniversary of the general elections of last year, which the party described as very fake.
The Lahore district administration refused to hold the rally on Thursday.
In a circular published by the deputy commissioner of Lahore, it was declared that the granting of permission to the party was not possible because the month of February was already “saturated with a range of high -level events national and international “.
The PTI, however, had continued its rally planned in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Swabi district where the party governs. Speaking with reference to the rally, Khawaja Asif said that government machines and resources are recklessly used in Swabi.
He said the political rallies held in traditions were not reprehensible, but that the PTI management had a walking model on Islamabad.
“The real PTI leadership was the victim of the plots of a specific group within their party. The attitude of the PTI is prejudicial to the interests of Pakistan.
“They planned their protest the same day as the champions trophy match. A rehearsal of the events of May 9 and November 26 will not be authorized,” he added.
