Pti swears to recover the “stolen mandate”

Under the shadow of article 144 and in the midst of the negotiations at the highest point with the government on the purne grievances, Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) went on Saturday in the streets of the country, observing a “ dark day ”, who, according to him, stole his mandate for him.

Addressing the rally, Junaid Akbar, newly hit provincial president of PTI, said that institutions were to remain within their limits.

“Today’s rally is a message for those who say that the PTI is tired. Institutions only become strong when people stand with them; we respect the institutions.” However, Junaid regretted the widening gap between institutions and the public.

During the rally, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the president of the opposition alliance, called for unity among the people, warning that if real solidarity was reached, the federal government would last more than three months.

Achakzai hid the current regime as being formed by “looters and thieves”.

PTI information secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram alleged that the government “mandate had been stolen” by the government to pass the 26th amendment.
