Jon Hamm gushes into the creator of Saturday Night LiveLorne Michaels, for having given them a chance to show her funny side.
He shared that the offer came to him after having presented several roles similar to his character in small groups in Mad Men.
“I was offered a lot of roles that were a version of this character where you smoked a cigarette and a sort of brood, looking out a window in the dark city of a place,” said the 53 -year -old reporters From the man of Pudding Hasty 2025 of the year to Harvard in Cambridge.
“So I told myself that I will do that for my day work,” he continued. “But I think there are more things [there] TO DO.”
But when Lorne offered the role for SnlJon recalled that it had opened up new possibilities for his career because he hosted the show three times.
“I am really crediting no other than Lorne Michaels for having offered me a [chance to] guest host Saturday Night Live [for the first time in 2008] To really make sense, well, I have a funny side for me, “he said.
“Most people who knew me before I know me for the madmen knew it was the predominant side of me.”
