The pre-match show of the Super Bowl is made up of a black national anthem interpreted by Ledisi

Ledisi, a award-winning singer and composer with Grammy Award, sang “Lift Every Voice and Sing” as part of the pre-match festivities of the Super Bowl Lix.

The native of New Orleans sang the song, otherwise known as the Black National Hymn, at Caesars Superdome while the fans planned the start of the match between the chiefs of Kansas City and the Eagles of Philadelphia .

She won a grammy for the best traditional R&B performance for the song “Anything for You”.

Jon Batiste interpreted the national anthem and Lauren Daigle interpreted “America the Beautiful”.

The performance of the national black anthem has been a source of dismay for fans since the NFL decided to put the song before the Super Bowl to finish the 2020 season. Fans were not satisfied and made their Voices on social networks.
