The 2K editor has unveiled Sid Meier 7 – VR civilizationA surprise virtual reality port of the last entry of the longtime strategy franchise.
Developed by Playside Studios, this version of the game will be exclusive on Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. It seems to contain all the contents of the PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch version, but present it in a new VR format.
You are placed in front of the control table, a surface similar to a game that gives an overview of the world of game. With a view of birds, you order your growing empire through redesigned radial menus. Other leaders also appear around the table, allowing diplomatic meetings face to face.
Sid Meier 7 – VR civilization will be playable both in VR reality and mixed reality (MR), which uses the Meta Quest 3 cameras system to display your real environment while you play.
Overall, it looks like a fairly fantastic edition of the game and definitely pushed me a little closer to the upgrade to a meta quest 3 as the current owner of the quest 2. I was really impressed by how Sid Meier 7 civilization Look on PC, so I really don’t want to let the opportunity pass to really get closer to its very detailed models in a VR format.
