President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye is expected to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a two -day visit to the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Accompanied by a high -level delegation, including key ministers, senior officials and business managers, the visit of President Erdogan aims to deepen the long -standing bilateral links between the two nations.
During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif and President Erdogan will coprinate the 7th session of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Pakistan-Turkey (HLSCC). The session should end with a joint declaration and the signing of several important agreements and understanding memorandums (MOUS).
In addition, the two leaders will hold a joint press conference, and President Erdogan will engage in bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari. Erdogan will also address the Pakistani business and investment forum, where investors and eminent business leaders on both sides will discuss more economic ties.
The HLSCC, the highest decision -making forum between Pakistan and Turkey, covers a wide range of sectors, including trade, investment, energy, defense, agriculture, tourism and education. Until now, six council sessions have taken place, the most recent that takes place in Islamabad in February 2020. The visit and future discussions should cause increased cooperation and a more robust partnership between the two countries.
