Serena Williams’ husband returns to criticism about his Super Bowl Lix Halftime Show Crip Walk

Serena Williams’ husband came to defend the legend of tennis on social networks in the midst of criticisms concerning his decision to participate in the half-time show by Kendrick Lamar and Crip Walk.

Williams interpreted the dance movement in the middle of the Diss of Lamar track to the Rival rapper Drake. The retired tennis star also had a previous relationship with Drake, appearing during the track even more eyebrows.

She was one of the few surprises that Lamar had for the show, which also included Samuel L. Jackson disguised as “uncle Sam” making social comments between the songs of rapper Compton.

While some criticized Williams, Alexis Ohanian wrote in an article on X that his appearance was “greater than music”.

“Some of you do not know how much Serena was criticized for this same dance at Wimbledon 13 years ago and it shows … it’s bigger than music,” wrote the co-founder of Reddit.

Williams traveled CRIP in Wimbledon at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and also aroused criticism.

Williams seemed to be inaugurated by criticism. She posted several videos of herself before and after the half-time show.

“Come on the super bowl at halftime ??! I died a little!” She wrote in an article on Sunday evening.

Williams is one of the most accomplished tennis players in recent memory – man or woman. She won 23 Grand Chelem titles – second in the history of female tennis behind Margaret Court.

She retired from professional tennis in 2022.
