It is no secret that the Los Angeles Dodgers were able to recently attract Japanese stars.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto chose the Dodgers against New York dishes last year, when the two teams offered him $ 325 million.
More recently, Roki Sasaki has also chosen the Dodgers despite the Toronto Blue Jays offering more money.
Due to his age, Sasaki, 23, was limited to money from the International Team Pool.

And Shohei Ohtani decided to stay in Los Angeles and sign with the Dodgers before the 2024 campaign.
Japanese stars have joined other teams in recent years, but Yamamoto and Sasaki are undoubtedly the best hopes of pitching other than Ohtani since the arrival of Masahiro Tanaka in 2014 with the Yankees.
Before the 2023 season, Kodai won a $ 90 million contract over five years with New York dishes, and he should be at the top of their rotation this season after missing the majority of last season.
As he noted in training in the spring on Tuesday, Senga was asked how the food could land more Japanese stars, and he was brutally honest.
“Of course, I would like to have more on the dishes, but the climate is nice there, and I think it certainly plays a role,” said Senga.

The manager of the Yankees takes a chance on the Dodgers, alleges the lack of “class” with the title World Series Talk
“We have to build a roof.”
The owner of the dishes, Steve Cohen, has already teased a roof, noting once it would cost around $ 800 million to build. But, last year, he said that “the ship had sailed” because it is “too expensive”.
There are more Japanese stars that soon arrive in the United States. The Gaucher Slugger Munetaka Murakami, which struck 56 circuits in 2022 and has a .938 OPS in career abroad, should join the major leagues next year.
It should also be noted that Blue Jays have a roof, so the time was clearly not everything for Sasaki.
