“When @kendricklamar and the team called and we said” we are trying to do something forever, what about that? We loved your CRIP walk at the Olympic Games after winning the gold medal. “I am like Super Bowl? Are you serious?
“When in the world can I never dance in a superbowl? (Never) do it!”
Williams’ added that she knew that her “winning dance” at the 2012 Olympic Games in London “will be paid one day”.

But Williams’ husband, the co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, defended Williams
“Some of you do not know how much Serena was criticized for this same dance in Wimbledon 13 years ago and it shows … it’s bigger than music,” he said in An article on X.
