“ No fear of references if innocent ”, explains judge Mansoor Ali Shah

Earlier in the day, Pakistan chief judge Yahya Afridi was sworn in to six newly appointed judges from the Supreme Court during an official ceremony.

The oath ceremony saw the oath of judge Aamir Farooq, judge Shafi Siddiqui, judge Hashim Kakar, judge Ishtiaq Ibrahim, judge Salahuddin, judge Shakeel Ahmed and judge Ad Hoc Gul Hassan.

The event was followed by judges of the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, the main lawyers, journalists, legal staff, as well as officials of the association of the Supreme Court Bar and Pakistan Bar Council.

In addition, President Asif Ali Zardari will prove the oath to the acting chief judge of the IHC, Sarfaraz Dogar.
