Tommy Doyle is now a former football player at the age of 26.
Buffalo Bills’s offensive line announced on Friday that he was retiring due to “permanent” injuries.
Doyle has not appeared in a match since week 3 of the 2022 season, and an injury he suffered in the 2023 pre-season left him nervous lesions.

“At this point, with the calendar and the healing process, it seems that it is permanent. I am simply unable to play football at a high level, and it’s time. When you know, you know,” said Doyle.
Doyle torn an ACL in 2022.
“I really fought, I was helping and worked to come back from this injury, to be somehow struck by an even more disastrous injury,” said Doyle. “But, at the end of the day, there was a lot of negative emotions and anger.

“Football is something I liked and put my life. And I put a lot of time, efforts and energy to try to come back to the field. But, in the end, it’s really not the plan May God have for me, and I know it’s true.
“I think what I will remember the most are the relationships formed with the team’s guys, with the coaches, with the coaches, with the fans. It is an incredible city. It is an incredible city .

Doyle was a choice of fifth round in Miami de l’Ohio in 2021. During his recruit season, during the Channel of the Joker against the New England Patriots, he caught a touch.
