Cholistan: the chief of staff of the army (COAS) Asim Munir and the chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, launched the initiative of Green Pakistan on Saturday to revolutionize agriculture and provide to farmers of agricultural facilities under one roof.
Speaking on occasion, Coas Gen Munir qualified the punjab as agricultural power in Pakistan and praised the management of Punjab and its farmers in modern agriculture.
By reaffirming the continuous support for the country’s economic development, the army chief also appreciated the efforts and the successes made as part of the initiative of green companies of the Punjab government in a short time, describing them as encouraging and from progress.
The Green Pakistan initiative is an agricultural project which is a joint effort between the government and the Pakistani army aimed at improving the country’s agricultural development.
Today’s launching ceremony included the inauguration of Green Mall and Service Company, Smart Agri Farm and Agricultural Research and Facility Center.
Green Agri Mall and Service, as reported by Radio Pakistanwill provide farmers with quality seeds, fertilizers and pesticides at reduced prices at their door. In addition, farmers will have access to agricultural machines, including drones in affordable rental.
A cutting -edge agricultural farm covering 5,000 acres will serve as a model for modern agricultural techniques, using advanced irrigation systems and promoting water -efficient agricultural practices. Emphasis will be placed on cost reduction and increased yields.
Meanwhile, the agricultural research and installation center will offer all the tools and installations necessary for agricultural research, including laboratory services such as floor tests.
This center will collaborate with agricultural institutions across the country, which further advances the knowledge base in the agricultural sector.
Tackle the ceremony – also assisted by the federal ministers Rana Tanveer Hussain and Musadik Malik and the main provincial minister Marrium Aurangzeb, the provincial minister Agri & Livestock Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani and others – Punjab CM Maryam stressed that the launch From these projects marks the start of a new new trip to the development of Punjab farmers.
The chief minister stressed that agricultural progress is directly linked to the growth of farmers and the prosperity of Pakistan and noted that Green Pakistan was a revolution to promote modern agriculture in the country.
The CM also underlined the agriculture sector as the Pakistan rescue buoy and returned the letters of land allocation to the relatives of the martyrs and the families of the wounded during the war.
She praised the efforts of the green initiative of Pakistan to introduce contemporary best practices in the agricultural sector of Pakistan.
