The stars of San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul were disqualified compared to the festivities of the star game on Saturday evening after finding a flaw in the skills competition.
The pair was on the field for the competition in which the players go through a series of challenges, including the passage from the rebound, the passage of the chest, the shots of three different places on the ground and the dribble.
As they arrived at the shooting part, Wembanyama and Paul simply launched the ball into the edge in a time saving tactic.

He did not steal.
They were disqualified because the shooting attempts were determined as invalid. Wembanyama, the 7 -feet 3 inch Frenchman who is in his second year in the NBA, said he had the idea.
“I don’t regret it. I think it was a good idea,” he said.
Wembanyama and Paul finished the course in 47.9 seconds, the best among the competitors.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green later said that Wembanyama asked others if his plan made sense. Green contributed with his teammate Moses Moody.
“It really sucked to see them launching the ball like that,” said Green. “But what I will say is that Wemby has gone around the court asking everyone:” Make one or three attempts? “And Wemby said,” Oh, so I can get them all three up there? “So, he asked. Now he may not have asked the right people.
The stars of Cleveland Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley won the event.
Mobley said he had an idea similar to that of Wembanyama’s rescue plan. But it is the teammates of the Spurs who have become the speech of the competition.

“We tried something we thought we could win,” said Paul. “To see if we had the best time, then … it was fun.”
