Former Miami Dolphins’s former offensive line player Jonathan Martin resumes his accusations of intimidation against his former teammate, Richie Incognito, who caused a scandal in 2013.
“I never believed a second where I was a victim of intimidation,” Martin told ESPN. “This is a story that I have been trying to repair for 10 years.”
Incognito was suspended by the Dolphins in 2013 after reporting that he had intimidated Martin to the point where the latter storm the team cafeteria following what was said.

Martin, a second round of the Dolphins in 2012, took place in his second NFL season when the controversy of intimidation surrounded him and incognito.
The Dolphins later announced that Incognito had been suspended for “conduct detrimental to the team”.
The league was finally involved, holding lawyer Ted Wells to investigate the incident, who found that Incognito, Mike Pouncey and John Jerry were all engaged in intimidation towards Martin.

The NFL report on the issue also said that Martin had registered in a hospital and that his mother was to be transported by plane across the country to be with him during this period.
But now Martin blames his parents because the situation becomes as widely known as today.
“I had a situation with my teammates of which I was not super happy,” Martin told Espn. “But my mother had her own reading on the situation.
“I hadn’t even said to my coaches, I hadn’t said anyone. And suddenly, it’s on ESPN, right?” He continued. “I didn’t believe any of the positions I took, on the right, where I am this victim. I was not a victim, right? And again, this is a point of dismay.

“My mother maybe in her mind – I can’t read her mind – she thought she was doing the right thing.”
Incognito, which missed the second half of the 2013 season and the entire 2014 campaign due to the scandal, responded after seeing Martin’s new words on this subject.
“He couldn’t cut him in the NFL so he left and his mother blamed me,” he said, struck at X. “The inherited media pushed this long and far story. Too bad Have lied!
While Martin’s mother, Jane, did not speak with ESPN for the interview, her father, Gus, said his play.
“His mother and I intervened,” he said. “To make sure he was protected.”

Gus Martin also played an alleged voice of incognito, which was left to his son at the time. The man on the phone who would be incognito threatens Jonathan Martin, using graphic language, including racial insults.
“Hey, what’s new, yourself —— Piece of S —“, allegedly said incognito. “I saw you on Twitter, you’ve been training for 10 weeks. The real mother through her face.
Martin would end up being exchanged for the 49ers of San Francisco during the offseason after the light of the allegations of intimidation. However, he only played 15 games there before retiring after going to the Caroline Panthers training camp the following year.
Meanwhile, Incognito signed with the Buffalo Bills after its suspension was lifted by the League. He spent three seasons in the north of New York before joining the raiders of the time.

During an appearance on “HBO’s Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel” in 2019, Incognito denied having never intimidated his former teammate, blaming “the mental health problems and his demons” by Martin to be outside the League.
Incognito added: “I make the bill. Hey, racist, homophobic, so men speak to each other. A bad s-he said absolutely.
