Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that inflation in Pakistan will continue to decrease, ensuring citizens a stabilizing economy.
In a discussion with journalists, he stressed that if significant progress had been made in improving the economy, additional efforts were still necessary, Express News reported.
Sharif explained that when his government has assumed his functions, the country’s economic conditions were disastrous, but his team worked tirelessly to make improvements.
Despite this, he pointed out that more hard work is necessary to fully overthrow the economy and ensure that the benefits of growth are reaching ordinary citizens.
“At first, the situation was incredibly difficult, but we worked to make the economy stable and eliminate the culture of the cronyism,” said Sharif.
He has also thought about the impact of political disputes in the past, which, according to him, has led to a culture of hatred and division.
According to the Prime Minister, this division has caused significant damage to the country, but it considers that national progress can only be achieved by unity and collaboration.
On a positive note, Sharif underlined the progress made in the fight against inflation.
He said, “Thank God, the inflation rate has now fallen to figures.
He also recognized his team’s contributions and the relentless work of government representatives to obtain these results.
“All stakeholders, including civil servants, must continue to work with diligence for the development of Pakistan,” he said. Sharif also praised the army sacrifices, which continues to fight for the security of the country.
Sharif’s optimism about the economic future of Pakistan came next to his call for teamwork and the continuous commitment of all sectors to advance the country.
He concluded with a firm conviction that with collaboration, Pakistan could overcome its challenges and achieve long -term prosperity.
