Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation arrives in Islamabad

A high -level parliamentary delegation from Bahrain arrived in Islamabad during an official visit to the invitation of the President of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, officials said.

According to a press release from the Secretariat of the National Assembly, the delegation will participate in high -level meetings in Islamabad during their four -day visit from February 16 to 19.

The delegation is led by Dr Ahmed Bin Salman Al-Musallam, President of the Bahrain Representatives’ Council.

Dr. Al-Musallam and his delegation will meet President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, President of Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, and the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

They will also organize discussions with the postman and the members of the Pakistani-Bahrain friendship group, as well as other political and parliamentary figures.

Chaudhry Shahbaz Babar, member of the Pak-Bahrain friendship group, granted a warm welcome to the delegation when they arrived at the airport.

Meetings will focus on strengthening parliamentary relations, deepening bilateral cooperation and the fight against regional matters of mutual interest.

Pakistan and Bahrain share long -standing ties based on religious, cultural and historical ties. This visit marks an important step to further improve their partnership and expand collaboration in various sectors.

In addition to official commitments, the Bahraini delegation will visit cultural and historical sites in Islamabad, promoting the stronger links of people to the person between the two nations.
