Pakistan underlined on Monday the need to resolve conflicts in Jammu and Kashmir (iiojk), illegally occupied illegally, allowing their peoples to exercise the law not promised self -determination.

“The principles of self-determination and the non-acquisition of the territory through the use or threat of force are fundamental to maintaining the world order,” said Darrier Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar During a special meeting of OIC ambassadors to the UN.

“Respect for these principles is essential for obtaining fair solutions for Palestine and the Jammu-et-Cachemire dispute,” added Dar, who had arrived on Sunday afternoon to participate in the high-level meeting of the Security Council of the United Nations on global governance and multilateralism.

He also declared that in both conflicts, the implementation of these principles is crucial to end the foreign occupation and ensure freedom.

Initially, DAR reaffirmed the unshakable commitment of Pakistan to advance the common objectives of the UN OIC.

He specifically expressed that Pakistan would continue to plead for a fair and lasting peace in Palestine, calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, unhindered humanitarian assistance and a firm company with any effort aimed at moving the Palestinian people.

Dar reiterated the total support of Pakistan to the two-state solution, imagining a viable sovereign state of Palestine based on the fronts before 1967, with al-Quds al-Sharif as capital.

The DPM has also reaffirmed the unshakable support of Pakistan for the simple struggle of the cashmere people, urging the international community to seek a peaceful resolution to the IIOJK dispute in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the wishes of the Curse people.

In addition, DAR has expressed its concerns about Israeli threats to carry out new attacks on Iran, stressing that such actions would represent a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.

“Despite hostile rhetoric, we hope that all parties will seek to relaunch the JCPOA (Iranian nuclear transaction) on fair conditions. This should significantly contribute to the realization of sustainable peace and security through the Middle East, “he added.

The FM reaffirmed Pakistan support for peaceful conflict resolution affecting Muslim countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter.

He also underlined the urgent need to combat Islamophobia and called for the rapid appointment of a special United Nations envoy, in accordance with the collective efforts of the OIC to counter this increasing global trend.
