- Users report load problems with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus
- The problem seems to come from the use of a USB-C 5A cable with a 45W charger
- Samsung claims to work on a fix, but in the meantime, there are several possible temporary solutions
If you are the lucky owner of a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra or Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, you may have encountered a problem that has left you lucky either. Users report that these devices invoice much more the next day than the speed of 45W announced, or in some cases, do not charge at all.
There are reports on this problem on Reddit and the own Samsung community forums (such as spotted by the Android police), but the culprit and a temporary solution seem to have been identified.
Most load problems seem to be encountered by people using the 45W charger from Samsung in tandem with the USB-C 5A cable which is included with the Galaxy S25. However, in a post on X, Samsung Italia suggested that using the 3A cable included, instead, should solve the problem.
A software solution
It is not clear if this solution works for everyone or not, but I hope that a more permanent correction will arrive soon; In the same article, Samsung Italia said that the problem would be resolved with future software update.
Since this post, the first software update began to move to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, and it mentions improvements to the charge, but does not say if this bug, in particular, has been crushed.
So, if you have encountered this problem, be sure to download this update – in fact, you must do it anyway, because it also includes other bugs and safety fixes.
If this does not work, see if the passage to a 3A cable helps. Some items also suggest trying to use a slower load brick or deactivate the super fast load function on your Galaxy S25 device, and if everything else fail Until there is an appropriate correction.
But if you have a Samsung Galaxy S25, especially – rather than an S25 more or ultra – you should do nothing, because the basic model does not appear – probably because its charging speed is 25 W rather that 45W.
