The security forces killed 30 terrorists in an intelligence operation (IBO) in the Sararogha region in the southern Waziristan district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Tuesday .
The ISPR, the media wing of the military, said that the IBO was made on Monday on the “reported presence of Khwarij”-a term used for terrorists belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-E-Taliban Prohibition (TTP).
“During the conduct of the operation, his own troops indeed hired Khwarij’s place, following which, thirty Khwarij were sent to hell,” he said. “The disinfection operation is underway to eliminate any other Kharji found in the region, as Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the country’s threat of terrorism,” he added.
President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the security forces for their successful operation in southern Waziristan. The president reaffirmed the determination of the government to completely eradicate Fitna al-Khwarij.
The security forces carry out operations to eliminate the spectrum of terrorism. The whole nation is united against terrorism, “said the president, reiterating that operations against Fitna al-Khwarij would continue until his complete elimination.
The Prime Minister said the security forces would continue to thwart the harmful conceptions of the enemies of humanity. He added that in each passing day, the security forces approached their objective of eliminating terrorism.
“The sacrifices of the soil sons will not go to no avail,” said the Prime Minister. He added that the government and the security forces were fully determined to completely eradicate the country’s terrorism.
The security forces have intensified operations against terrorist elements in the affected regions of the country, including the Waziristan region. In a recent past, the forces have produced dozens of ibos in the north and the districts of southern Waziristan, killing a number of khwarij.
During the weekend, a United Nations report revealed that the continuous support of Afghan Taliban at TTP prohibited, despite the growing pressure of Islamabad to stop supporting the outfit, fueled the climbing of the group’s attacks in Pakistan.

He said Fitna-Al Khawarij ignored Islam. “We fight the anarchists of Fitna-Al-Khawarij. These external elements distort the true teachings of Islam and violate its principles,” said the army chief.
Quoting verses from the Holy Quran, General Asim Munnir has strengthened his position on Fitna Khawarij, declaring that the Koran had clearly prescribed serious sanctions for those who wage war in Allah and his Messenger (PSL) and have spread the anarchy on earth.
General Asim Munnir reiterated that the Pakistani army fighting against corrupt elements that have misinterpreted Islam. He said the Khawarij violated Islamic lessons and that religion had clear directives concerning these troublemakers.
