Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to Bahrainian investors to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, focusing on solid fraternal links between the two nations.
The declaration was made at a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a Bahrainian parliamentary delegation of 11 members led by Ahmed Bin Salman al-Musallam, president of the Bohreïn representatives’ council in Islamabad.
Strengthening Pakistani-Bahreïdes relations
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his best wishes to the King of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to deepen bilateral relations.
He stressed that Pakistan and Bahrain share solid historical, religious and cultural ties, and stressed the importance of improving people’s exchanges to further strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation.
“Parliamentary exchanges play a crucial role in deepening our relationship, and such initiatives will help strengthen the already strong fraternal links between Pakistan and Bahrain,” said Prime Minister Sharif.
Call for Bahrainian investment in Pakistan
The Prime Minister encouraged Bahrainian investors to benefit from the business favorable to business in Pakistan, highlighting the country’s vast potential in various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, manufacturing and technology.
He also recognized the important contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain, which plays a vital role in different industries and services.
He also underlined the need to increase the current commercial volume between Pakistan and Bahrain, calling for increased economic collaboration for the benefit of the two countries.
Discussion on Palestine and the Gaza crisis
Prime Minister Sharif also urged Pakistan, Bahrain and the Muslim world broader to intensify their collective efforts to support the people of Palestine and Gaza. He reaffirmed the unshakable solidarity of Pakistan with the Palestinian people and called for greater humanitarian assistance and diplomatic initiatives to fight against the crisis.

The high-level meeting also attended by the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, a special assistant by Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and senior government officials, who have embarked on discussions on the strengthening of Pakistani cooperation- Bahrain in several sectors.
