Lahore:
The LHC division Banc on Wednesday granted an intra-haired appeal filed by the federal government, putting aside the decision of a single bench to withdraw the president of the president of the Nadra, General Mohammad Munnir AFSAR.
The bench, including judge Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal and judge Ahmed Nadeem Arshad, heard the appeal of the federal government and announced the verdict, following the end of the arguments of the two parties.
In its appeal, the federal government argued that the verdict of the single bench, which had declared the appointment of illegal AFSAR on the basis of a petition, deposited by Ashba Kamran, was contrary to the facts.
