The chief of the Czech National Bank, Ales Michl, continues to plead in favor of Bitcoin (BTC)

Wednesday, the governor of the Czech National Bank, Ales Michl, continued his campaign for possibly added Bitcoin (BTC) to the assessment of the central bank, in particular by encouraging words for the frustrated by reputation damage inflicted on Bitcoin by the wider cryptography market.

The cryptography market will experience “failures and success,” wrote Michl in a long post X. “Bitcoin, however, is another story. It should not be grouped with other cryptographic active ingredients.”

It is perhaps not a coincidence that Michl has chosen to publish this after the events of the last days during which the already unhealthy enthusiasm of the same has reached new levels of fat. This included Rugpulls encouraged by the founder of Binance Changpeng Zhao and the Argentinian president Javier Milei.

Michl came to the Radar of the Bitcoin market last month when he submitted a proposal that the Czech National Bank adding alternative assets – Bitcoin among them – to his balance sheet. The proposal was approved by the Bank Board and Michl recalled today that this is only the initial stage of the analysis.

“We, central bankers, should study it and explore technology [bitcoin] is built on, “said Michl.” Studying Bitcoin will not hurt us – on the contrary, that will strengthen us. “”
