- Apple apparently tests the inverted wireless load on its iPhones
- The functionality could happen on the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro
- Four new flagship models should make their debut in September
According to our calculations, we are about seven months from the launch of iPhone 17 phones, and the last of the rumor suggests that the pro and pro max models could obtain a very useful upgrade: the inverted wireless load.
This comes from well -known digital moment (via macrumors), but the emphasis is on “tested” – for the moment, it is not clear if the load function, supporting a rate up to 7.5 W, will cut or not.
If you are not familiar with the inverted wireless load, this is something that you can find on various other handsets, including the best Samsung phones. It essentially transforms the back of a handset into a wireless load cushion.
If Apple introduces the functionality of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, you may drop your airpods to the back of one of these handsets to load them wirelessly, for example – but it is only Speculation at this stage.
Frame for September
We are starting to hear more and more leaks and rumors around the handsets of the iPhone 17, several of which predicts a large enough overhaul for the camera in the back of the phones – a overhaul that does not seem entirely convincing.
There has also been a debate on the question of whether the dynamic island of the iPhone 17 will shrink the size of the iPhone 16 or will remain the same. A rumor that seems a little more certain is that the four models will obtain 120 Hz screens and a display support always on.
It now seems very likely that the iPhone 16 Plus will be replaced by the iPhone 17 air (although this name is not yet defined) – a slim and light smartphone that follows what Samsung does with the Samsung Galaxy S25 edge.
In the meantime, we always choose the details of the latest iPhone, the iPhone 16th. Although the handset is delivered with many familiar features from Apple Intelligence that we have seen before, it is somewhat lacking in the photography department.
