San Antonio Spurs Star Victor Wembanyama will miss the rest of the season after receiving a diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis on the right shoulder, the team announced on Thursday.

Wembanyama, the title recruit of the year, was diagnosed after his return from the Stars weekend in San Francisco, the team said. He should miss the rest of the regular season.
