Lahore:
The President of the Islamic Ideology Council (CII), Dr. Raghib Hussain Naemimi, announced Thursday the prescribed prices of the current year for Sadqa-E-Fitr and Fidya to pay by people with means to disadvantaged persons .
Sadqa-e-Fitr is compulsory for each Muslim, slave or free, male or feminine, young or old, who has the means, said Dr. Naemimi. He announced that the minimum amount for Sadqa-E-Fitr and Fidya per person was RS220 this year.
According to the announcement, the prices could vary depending on the different products.
