Surety granted to more than 120 demonstrators of November 26

Islamabad:

The High Court of Islamabad (IHC) approved the liberation on bail for more than 120 PTI workers arrested within the framework of the protest of November 26, 2024 against a deposit of RS20,000 per person.

The court ordered the workers detained to submit an affidavit to the respective police station, undertaking not to commit such an offense in the future. An IHC division bench of two members, including the acting chief judge, Sarfraz Dogar and judge Muhammad Asif, heard the petitions of release of the PTI workers.

The advice of petitioners Ali Bukhari, Babar Awan and Murtaza Turi as well as other legal representatives appeared in court.
