Winter makes a welcome return

After a disproportionate delay which aroused concerns about a possible drought, the upper parts of the country finally received the rain and the snow, which drops the temperatures below the frost in several areas.

The rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, as well as snowfall in the mountainous regions, was recorded in most of the country’s upper and central parts.

However, Balutchistan can experience partially cloudy conditions, with strong winds, thunderstorms and light snowfall in certain mountainous areas in the evening and night.

The coastal areas of the Sindh can see a partially cloudy sky with light drizzle in certain places. A light to moderate fog is also expected in the northeast of Punjab during morning hours. Kashmir and gilgit-berthtan should have a very cold weather with a partially cloudy sky.
