King Charles, Princess Anne and Queen Camilla held a crucial meeting at the Buckingham Palace as they recognized humanitarian efforts around the world.
According to the royal family, at the Buckingham Palace, the King and the Queen, joined by the Royal Princess and the Duke and the Duchess of Gloucester, welcomed individuals and exceptional organizations contributing to humanitarian efforts around the world.
The reception also marked the birthdays of four global charitable organizations.
During the reception, King Charles and Queen Camilla, and the guests had the opportunity to see the displays on the work of the four humanitarian organizations, as well as to see stories of volunteers who work with the organizations.
The King and the Queen also saw a collection of images from the Emergency Committee for Catasters (DEC) sent to the King for World Humanitarian Day in August 2024.
Earlier in the week, King Charles also awarded the very first humanitarian medals at the Buckingham Palace.
