Kelsea Ballerini shared a powerful message during her Patterns Tour Stop at the Charlotte Spectrum Center, in North Carolina.

On February 20, the singer and songwriter gave a comforting message to a young boy.

When Kelsea noticed the boy holding a sign that said: “I am intimidated at school because I am a boy and I love you. Can we take a selfie?” She pauses the show to speak to her directly.

She said, “I guarantee you that each person here asked someone to tell them something that has harmed their feelings.”

“And I also promise you the person who says things means, it comes from a place of insecurity. I promise, I promise,” added the singer.

“They don’t know what they don’t like themselves, and so they project it on you – it’s a big word, I know. I have been so in therapy. But that doesn’t make it Not fair, and that does not do things correctly, and I am really sorry that anyone who has ever said something meaning for you.

“It’s not good. But it’s okay. Are you okay. Are you having a good time? That’s all that matters to me,” added Kelsea.

After the boy shared that it was his very first concert, Kelsea Ballerini asked him for a selfie, making the crowd applauded loudly.

“Do you hear all your friends right now? These are all your friends. Don’t forget that. We have it. We have it, right? It makes me want to cry,” said Kelsea.
