Martin did the Pro Bowl nine times and was appointed seven times all the pro-pro. Throughout his illustrious career, Martin had only seven accepted penalties, equaling his number of All-Pro selections.
Since he was drafted 16th in the general classification of the NFL 2014 NFL of Notre Dame, Martin has become an anchor for the offensive line of Cowboys. The only two years that Martin did not do, the pro bowl was the only seasons in which he played less than 14 games.
Only Bob Lilly (11), Larry Allen (10), Mel Renfro (10) and Jason Witten (11) made the pro Bowl more than Martin in the history of cowboys.
Lilly, Allen and Renfro are the temple of renown of professional football, while Witten is eligible for the first time this season.

The only player with more All-Pro selections from the first team since Martin entered the League in 2014 is Aaron Donald, who has eight and will be a hall of the first ball is once eligible.
Martin planned to retire during the 2023 pre-season, while he was held for a new contract, but then accepted a reworked contract which was essentially a two-year agreement.
With Martin, Travis Frederick and Tyron Smith, the Cowboys had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Smith was the faithful left platform which made eight pro-bols, with Frederick as Center and Martin at the right guard.
Smith left for New York Jets in a free agency before last season.

Frederick surprisingly retired after his sixth season in 2019. He was sidelined for 2018 by Guillain-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that affects the nervous system. Frederick decided after his return for a season more than he could not play his expectations.
Smith, Martin and Frederick were the first round of cowboys in 2011, 2014 and 2013, and they struck them. Now all have gone and the cowboys seek to rebuild their offensive line.
Brock Hoffman started in Martin’s square at the end of last season and is to continue in this role, while the cowboys seek to return to the playoffs after taking 7-10 last season.
