The Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, pulled a large against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, accusing the former Prime Minister imprisoned of the country’s interests for having achieved his own harmful objectives.
Speaking in an interview, AIF said that Imran wanted to make the army an alternative institution of his support, adding, however, Imran licked his injuries after leaving the government through a motion without confidence in the National Assembly in April 2022.

Asked about PTI demonstrations in London, the Minister of Defense said that Pakistan had significant diplomatic, military and economic relations with this country, adding that the two countries had exemplary relations in various fields.

He said that the PTI people were trying to sabotage the economy by propaganda. “They are not sincere with anything, and they have no commitment. The inhabitants of Pakistan are aware of it and they see all of this,” he added.
Asif has warned that such tactics would not return the government to Imran. “Pakistan is currently on the development path and no strength or conspiracy can harm the country. The army is currently making unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism. Such patriotism is unprecedented in history.”
On the other hand, AIF questioned Imran’s loyalty to Pakistan. However, he stressed that “this time will also pass, and things improve”. He added: “In a few months or years, everything will be fine and his chaos policy will be buried forever.”
