- Can we expect more content generated by AI on Spotify in the future?
The audio spotify books told by AI should increase while the streaming company concludes a new partnership with Elevenlabs, a company responsible for one of the best generators of AI voice.
Expansion means that audio books on Spotify can now be told in 29 languages thanks to excellent technology of ElevenLabs natural consonance speech. The AI software will offer the authors of tools to control the voice and intonation of the narrator to create as much as possible non -human audio.
Audio books born on AI are nothing new for Spotify, the company has collaborated with Google Play Books to use software similar to that of Notebooklm for the authors wishing to create audio books without hiring a narrator or doing it -Mee. This partnership will increase the choice of authors and will expand the amount of content for AI on the platform for consumers.
In the declaration of partnership announcement, Spotify said: “For authors looking for a profitable means of creating high quality audio books, the digital vocal narration by Elevenlabs is an excellent option.”

Is it good for the listener?
When CEO Daniel Ek said Spotify “doubled” on music in 2025, there were concerns about what it could mean exactly. With an expected liberation of Spotify Hifi and an imminent AI impact on all technological companies, 2025 will be a huge year for the streaming service, and this partnership with Elevenlabs is the first advantage of what to expect.
The audio generated by AI is really impressive, so much so that I bet that you have probably listened to an audio book or a podcast expressed by artificial intelligence and that I was not even noticed. There are obviously enormous advantages to the narration of AI, allowing the authors to adapt their books to a wider audience without the need for additional resources, but, as an auditor, we really want to start Listen to vocal software?
Could the narration of the AI be the first step towards this “double” on music, with a final audio objective generated by AI in your Spotify playlist to help extend the music offer on the flat -shape? After all, many of us can already listen to Lo-Fi rhythms generated by AI and other background noise without even noticing.
The AI audio is still in its infancy, but it evolves quickly, and the spotify push to increase its audio offer in partnership with a large company of generation of AI voice could simply be the beginning.
