Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was hitting his predecessor, Imran Khan, wondering if the former chief “gave money” during his visits abroad.
Addressing a rally in Dera Ghazi Khan, Prime Minister Shehbaz responded to previous allegations that he asked for financial assistance from other countries. “A politician said that Shehbaz Sharif goes abroad to ask for money. I ask, did you go abroad to distribute money?” He pointed out.
The Prime Minister also announced the creation of a Dera Ghazi Khan cancer hospital and a university in Rajanpur, calling them on fair development in Punjab. He said the government was determined to improve education, health care and industry in all provinces.
Prime Minister Shehbaz reiterated the economic achievements of his government, saying that inflation increased from 40% to 2.4% under his administration.
“When we took office, inflation was at its peak. Nawaz Sharif has sacrificed its policy for the state good, and today the results are visible,” he said.
He criticized past anti-government demonstrations, saying that they had harmed Pakistan’s progress. “The steps on Islamabad aimed to destabilize the country. This chapter must be closed,” he added.
The Prime Minister also welcomed the Federal Minister of Power Awais Leghari for efforts in the energy sector, saying that the government was working to reduce electricity bills.
“We will continue to work until Pakistan is up to the world of the worlds of the world,” said Shehbaz.
In addition, earlier this week, Prime Minister Shahbaz announced that consultations were continuing concerning the regulation of digital currency in Pakistan.
The declaration was made at a meeting of the Economic Advisory Council, which was chaired by the Prime Minister and assisted by various members of the Council.
Participants expressed their confidence in government policies and provided future growth suggestions, which were welcomed by the Prime Minister.
In his speech, Prime Minister Sharif stressed that economic stability is a collective effort, not the work of a person. He reiterated government’s commitment to sustainable economic development and highlighted efforts to promote trade in the region.
The Prime Minister said that the government aims to improve the competitiveness of local industries on international markets, emphasizing the stimulation of exports and job creation. He also mentioned initiatives aimed at establishing green data centers and improving telecommunications services, especially in distant areas, in order to increase computer exports and the number of freelancers.
The Prime Minister also underlined the current efforts to regulate digital currency in Pakistan and expressed the importance of transforming today’s discussions into usable plans.
During the meeting, the participants congratulated the government’s economic measures, noting that the country’s economy is stable and evolves towards growth. They stressed that price stability has led to an increase in production and that the government’s action plan is recognized by global economic institutions, investors and the business world.
They also appreciated the government’s commitment to institutional reforms and improvements in the tax system, which favored an environment more favorable to businesses.
The meeting also underlined an increase in exports in a month, which participants considered as a positive indicator of the economic recovery. In addition, the repression of smuggling has been considered to contribute to export growth.
