As part of the agreement, Bangladesh will buy a total of 50,000 tonnes of Irrri rice from Pakistan’s Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP). The agreement was finalized in the first week of February.

The order will be completed in two phases, with the second shipment of 25,000 tonnes scheduled for early March. In addition to this expedition, the direct shipping routes between the two countries will also be restored, further strengthening economic ties.

For the first time, a Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) ship carrying government freight will dare to be a new era in bilateral trade and maritime cooperation.
