Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s Cold War was bare by an expert.
The Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales have developed an internal rivalry towards each other since they shared an office at the Palais de Kensington.
Newsweek Royal Editor Jack Royston tells the Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show: “There was 100% massive rivalry between the Sussex and the Wales that went up when they shared a private office at the Kensington Palace.”
“And that kind of thing, you would cut absolutely and dry, was a massive 100%rivalry.”
Jack continued: “They would like to compete and surpass themselves, so there is probably a little.
The expert added: “I mean, it is difficult to overcome this.”
“I am sure there is an instinct of wanting to surpass the other couple, whether it is Wales or Sussex.”
This comes as a royal initiate said: “Meghan seemed uncomfortable to have to play so publicly” second fiddle “to William and Kate as the upper royals in the hierarchy of the palace.”
